Fifth Sunday After Resurrection

First Reading: 1 John 4:7 - 10 (English):
God is love. He loved us to the point of sending his only Son to save us and set us free from sin. Whoever does not love, does not know God because he is love.

Second Reading: Romans 10:1 - 13 (Lebanese):
In this reading, St. Paul explains that the purpose of the law is to follow it so we can be close to God our Father.

Gospel: Luke, 24: 36 - 45 (English & Lebanese):
In this appearance to his disciples, Jesus fulfilled the Scriptures. When he saw them startled, he asked them to touch his hand and his feet. Jesus opened the disciples' mind to understand the scriptures.

They hope that the committee would organize more frequent and enlarged meetings and conventions.
2. The Church is an attraction center for our Youth: it works in the parishes to open ourselves to a larger dimension. Yes the Parish, better all Parishes no more my Parish, together all Parishes One Church.

The Visitation of Mary
May 31

Celebrated between the feasts of the Annunciation (March 25) and the Birth of John the Baptist (June 24), the feast of the visitation originated in the Church of the Middle Ages. It recalls Mary's visit to her cousin, Elizabeth, after the angel announced that she was to be the mother of Jesus. Filled with the Holy Spirit, these two great women recognized the power of God at work in their midst. "Blessed are you among women" Elizabeth said, "and blessed is the fruit of your womb." Mary replied:
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices
in God My Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly
servant . From this day, all generations will call me blessed:
The Almighty has done great things for me,
And Holy is his Name.
