First Reading: 1 John 2:1 - 5 (English):
St. John explains that our sin is forgiven by the power of the
advocate Jesus Christ who intercedes for us and for the whole
world in front of God our Father.
Second Reading: Romans 6:1 - 11 (Lebanese):
In this reading, St. Paul explains that we are baptized by Jesus
Christ and by his death. By his Resurrection, we were glorified
with him. We found a new meaning to our lives.
Gospel: John, 21: 1 - 14 (English & Lebanese):
After his Resurrection, Jesus meets with his disciples while
they were working, in the midst of their worries and their jobs.
He invites them to understand this miracle. It is not about fishing
and filling the net, it is about the new life, new light, the
Light of the Resurrected Lord.

Memorare
Remember, most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known
that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help and
sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother to you
I come; before I stand sinful and sorrowful. Mother of the word
Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in your mercy hear and
answer me. |
