In this reading, St. Paul talks about the coming of the Lord. It is like a thief who comes during the night, and because we are the children of the light, we wait carefully for our God.Gospel: Luke 16: 19 - 31 (English & Lebanese):
In this Gospel reading, Jesus tells the Parable of Lazarus and the rich man. They both died but one went to eternal punishment and the other went to eternal life. Father Elie will be away on a retreat in Montreal starting Sunday, February 27th, until Saturday, March 4th. During this Period of time, Father Paul Açaf will be celebrating the Masses. We thank Rev. Açaf for his presence with us and we ask the Lord to bless him.
St. Joseph's Prayers: March is consecrated for prayers for St. Joseph, the Patron of the family. Everyone is welcome to attend the prayers at 5:45PM every evening.
Journey to the Father: St. Anthony's Parish is having an Adoration Day for the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday, March 2nd, from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM where the day ends with the Holy Mass. Everyone is welcome to attend and praise God our Father.

Our deepest sympathy to the Nohra & Nehmetallah Families on the loss of Jessica & Antonio José Charbel Nohra who passed away on Wednesday, February 16th, 2000 in San Felix, Venezuela at the age of 9 & 7 years. A memorial Mass was held in St. Anthony's Parish on Sunday, February 20th, 2000 at 3:00 PM. May God rest their angelic souls in peace and grant consolation for their family and relatives.
The National Catholic Parish encourages all the Catholics to invite family and friends to watch the broadcasts for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, March 5, 6 & 7 on the Vision Television Network in their homes and then join them on the final night Ash Wednesday, March 8.
