First Reading: 1 John 5:1 - 4 (English):
In this reading, St. John explains that everyone who loves the
parent loves the child. When we love God, we obey his Commandments.
Jesus is the one who came not only by water and blood but with
the water and blood and the Spirit.
Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:15 - 11 - 21
(Lebanese):
St. Paul explains that the fear of God makes him able to show
us that Jesus died so everyone can live.
Gospel: John, 20: 26 - 31 (English & Lebanese):
We are all like Thomas when we face the Resurrection of Jesus.
We aren't able to transform death into life. Because of our humanity,
we seek earthly things unlike the Lord rising from the dead who
leads us toward a new light, a new birth.
