Palm Sunday & Passion Week

First Reading: Philippians 2:6 - 11 (English):
In this reading, we see Jesus, the Lord, taking the form of a slave. We learn from him the obedience to the point of death because he is the one that every knee should bend for and every tongue should confess that he is the Lord.

Second Reading: Philippians 1:1 - 11 (Lebanese):
St. Paul explains that the love he shares with us for the Lord and his Gospel is the bond that brings us all together closer to God.

Gospel: John 12: 12 - 22 (English & Lebanese):
In this Gospel Reading, Jesus is treated like a king. After he did all the miracles his disciples wanted to declare him king on earth, a king who would return the peace to the world and the glory to the nation. They forgot that Palm Sunday is the opening of the passion and Jesus will not be King unless crucified.
