April, 09, 2000 Sixth Week of Lent: The Blind Man First Reading: Hebrews 5:7 - 9 (English):
In this reading, we see Jesus the human being who offered up prayers to the Lord to save him, we also know that Jesus, the Son, teaches us obedience through what he suffers.Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:1 -27 (Lebanese):
St. Paul asks us to be obedient to Jesus who is the perfect example of obedience and love. He also explains that when we trust in God's love we can conquer our fears and sins.Gospel: Mark 10: 46 - 52 (English & Lebanese):
In this Gospel Reading, we see Jesus as the Light of all nations. We cross with him from darkness to the bright light of truth. We follow Jesus like the blind followed him and we call out his Holy Name asking him to save us.Last Week's Collection

Parent Teacher Interviews at Cardinal Carter Secondary School, on Thursday, April 13, 2000 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Friday, April 14, 2000 from 9:00 - 10:30 AM. Mid-Term Reports will be given out at this time. Hope to see you there.
Catholic Men's Fellowship Breakfast: We meet the 3rd Saturday of each month, at 8:30 AM at Roseland Dining Room. Come join us as we support one another in our faith journey and seek to respond to God's call to us as Catholic Men.
Ontario Meat Canning: In Leamington from April 10 -13, 2000. The Canner will be set at Heinz Tomato Grading Station, on Sherk St. in Leamington. Donations can be made at any of the participating churches or MSCU in Leamington. Everyone is welcome.

Holy Week Retreat Schedule: Father Paul Oneid will be with us for the Holy Week. This is the program for the week of repentance and prayer:
