Trinity Sunday

Gospel: John 14: 15- 20 Readings: Acts of the Apostle 2: 1- 21
This Sunday of the Pentecost Season reflects the Sacrament of Baptism which is related to the Trinity: “Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” God’s salvation came for the Jews and the pagan as well. The role of the Father is obvious in the Old Testament. The role of the Son and that of the Holy Spirit is cleared in the New Testament.
Jesus’ appearance to his disciples after his Resurrection indicates that his mission is for the Jews and everyone else. Jesus’ mission started in Galilee and also in the whole universal Church, represented by the twelve disciples through the Risen Lord.
Jesus gave his disciples the same mission the Father gave him, revealing to them the mystery of the living Holy Trinity and confirming what was spoken by the Prophets.

Prayer To The Holy Trinity
Glory be to the Father, who by His almighty power and love created me, making me in the image and likeness of God.
Glory be to the Son, who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell, and opened for me the gates of heaven.
Glory be to the Holy Spirit, who has sanctified me in the Sacrament of Baptism, and continues to sanctify me by the graces I receive daily from His bounty.
Glory be to the Three adorable Persons of the Holy Trinity now and forever.
