Our Church parking Lot is in need of major and minor repairs. We
are repairing the cement around parking lot drains which due to time
and usage have cracked and allowed dirt and sand into drains.
We also are
repairing cracks in asphalt of parking Lot. Also the vent covers in
the Church have rusted and some are broken, therefore they also need
to be replaced.
Your help and
donations would be greatly appreciated for these improvements to our
Church. Donations can be made through the Church office. Thank
you in advance.

Our Lady of Lebanon
Our
Lady of Lebanon Auxiliary was established in 1977 with a mission of
keeping alive the Lebanese tradition of devotion to Mother Mary, and
construct a shrine duplicating that in Harrissa, Lebanon.
With
donations made from many communities the ground breaking ceremony
for the shrine was possible in May 1981. In May of 1983, the statue
weighing 12 tons and standing 145 feet high arrived accompanied by
Italian Sculpture, Rino Grazzi.
The
unveiling of the statue and blessing by Bishop Elias Shaheen was
held on May 22, 1983. August 1983 till present, the Volunteers of
the Ladies Auxiliary have been keeping alive the tradition to Our
Mother Mary with Annual Liturgical Celebration of Prayer and
Feasting.
June
1999, Stations of the Cross were built outside the Shrine. That
year, during the Our Lady of Lebanon Festival in August, His
Excellency, Mgr. Joseph Khoury blessed the newly constructed
Stations of the Cross.
Through the committed work and dedication of the Ladies of Our Lady
of Lebanon Auxiliary, the Shrine has been maintained for the past 25
Years.
On
behalf of Saint Anthony’s Parish we would like to wish a Happy 25th
Anniversary to Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine.
May
you Stand Strong Forever
Prayer to Our Lady of the Assumption
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this
vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of
mercy toward us, and after this our exile show us the blessed
fruit of your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
