Year of the Eucharist Sunday after the Pentecost St Charbel's Feast
Readings: Romans 8:28-39
Gospel: Matthew 13:36-43 Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the Lost".
Jesus spoke these words to Zacchaeus to show us that everyone is equal.
Jesus stayed at the home of the sinner because it is he who is lost. Zacchaeus asks forgiveness and offers penance for his sins. Zacchaeus was lost in his intentions and sins.
For that reason Jesus chose to stay with him.
Jesus comes looking for his lost in hopes that they want to be found.

St. Anne Parish in Tecumseh will celebrate St. Anne's feast with a Mass on Tuesday July 26th ,2005 at 11:00AM with Bishop Anthony Daniels presiding.

This year we celebrate the Assumption Festival on August 12, 13, and 14, 2005.
The Masses will celebrated on Friday, August 12, at 7:00PM, Saturday, August 13, at 7:00PM, and Sunday August 14, at 12 noon and 6:00PM. At our Lady of Lebanon Shrine.
The Novena will start Sunday August 7,2005 at St. Anthony's Church. All are welcome to attend.
St. Anne, Mother of Mary
July 26thAncient Christaian tradition records the names of Sts. Joachim and Anne as the parents of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
They were both members of the tribe of Judah of the house of David. According to tradition, Joachim and Anne came to Jerusalem from Galilee.
Over the centuries, they have been honored, expecially in the East, at great churches and shrines built in memory of them.
The Church recognizes the Grandparents of Jesus as models of family virtue and faith, which they transmtted to their offspring.
O Good St. Anne,
Mother of Mary, grandmother of Jesus,
Intercede Before God for our families
And their children.
May one generation hand on to another
Faith in God's promise and
Trust that He will do great things for those who reverence his name.
