Trinity Sunday, Fathers Day

Gospel: Matthew 28: 16 - 20

Readings: 2 Corinthians 13: 11 - 13

Jesus talked to them saying: "Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit." The Father created heaven and earth. The Son Jesus, is the one that the prophets have talked about. He taught us God's laws and showed us His glory through miracles and forgiveness of sins. He asked us to leave everything for Him. The Spirit teaches the Church reminding us of what Jesus said.

The Father is a sacrament; Jesus himself is a sacrament; but we are not facing a wall but through the light of Jesus' teachings, we can unveil the secrets of the Father and the Son. God is the Father; He creates us, protects and takes care of us; He died on the Cross then resurrected to save us.

God is the Holy Spirit: He sanctifies us, reminds us of Jesus' teachings. Three persons who love each other to the limit of unity. Christianity is not knowledge but it is life. The Secrets of life are not known by a scientist or a philosopher but by a good person. For this reason, the Pharisees and the high priests refused the word of God. Their hearts were blinded. They were afraid to be saved. The Church prayers and rites, especially the Holy Mass remind us that we are ONE in Christ. Only through love we reflect the image of God.
