SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER THE HOLY CROSS
Readings: Galatians, 6: 1-10

Gospel: Matthew, 25: 14-30 (English & Lebanese):

On the sixth Sunday after the Holy Cross, our main focus is the Parable of the Talents. "It will be as when a man who was going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them. To one he gave five talents, to another, two; to a third, one - to each according to his ability. Then he went away." St. Paul explains also, in his letter to the Galatians: "Brothers, a person will reap only what he sows. Let us not grow tired on doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up." All this week, we listen to readings about talents, and the good deeds without tiring. Did we pay attention to the Spirit's gifts in us? Did we know how to work these talents, so we could serve God and our neighbors?

Prayer to St. Therese of Lisieux
St. Therese, you who are a beloved child of God and who boldly trusted God's mercy, teach me how to let myself be loved by God, who is love. Help me to fall into his arms like the prodigal son, and to give back to God my life and my death. Help me to open myself freely to his tenderness, so as not to take away from his Father's heart the joy of loving me.
