"I, John, saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem." (Rev.
1:2) This holy city is the triumphant Church in heaven where
the saints enjoy eternal joy after they conquered the enemies
of the striving Church on earth. For this reason, St. John calls
it the New Jerusalem, because the saints are renewed by it in
glory and holiness. This city is always shining with God's glory.
Night and day don't belong there. It is always daylight. No grief
in this city nor distress, nothing but eternal happiness. No
one can enter this city except the righteous from every race.
The habitants of this city see God's face and reign forever and
ever. It is our turn now, as people of faith to walk the way
of the saints, so we could reign there with all the saints for
eternity.
